Why Abra is called to do this work…
Fitness had always been my go-to when it came to my health, until I hit a certain age and began to wake up every morning with new aches and pains. Learning how to control the inflammation in my body by eating the RIGHT real foods has helped me tremendously. I have studied and learned that what we put in our mouths plays a significant role in prevention and repair as we age.
Six months ago my youngest son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. The diagnosis was scary and devastating but since his diagnosis, I have taken an even further deep dive into the world of whole food nutrition and the importance of eating REAL food to keep our bodies functioning optimally. My son's diagnosis was (is!) stressful but my daily yoga and meditation practice has been a lifesaver for my nervous system. The stress you are facing daily is probably different than mine but is there nonetheless. This program will provide you with the tools necessary to begin taking care of you.
Give yourself the gift of successfully beginning your own health journey. Please note: the interactive style of these workshops will build community in a different way than a teacher led yoga class.
